Extra Credit Movie Night and Nonquiz: If you asked for (or if it would benefit you more) the absences rather than the 10/10 quiz, they’ve been credited toward your total in Blackboard. Blackboard won’t allow the 10/10 quiz credits to be posted easily, but those who chose that option have had the quizzes credited in my Excel gradebook.
Papers. I’m writing comments by hand on the papers this time. All the papers uploaded to Blackboard have been printed, and they and the paper versions some of you turned in will be scanned and turned back to you via Blackboard this week. (Virtually all the papers uploaded would have lost a point for incorrect file names, since they did not follow the Formatting Guidelines, so this is of benefit to most of you.)
Thought for the day: “Basil Hallward is what I think I am: Lord Henry what the world thinks me: Dorian what I would like to be—in other ages, perhaps.”
— Oscar Wilde in a letter to Ralph Payne (12 February 1894)
